The Particle Therapy Masterclass introduces high school students to one of the most powerful applications of particle physics: cancer treatment.
They learn how accelerators are used in hospitals, analyze real patient treatment data (anonymized), and discuss with physicists and doctors.
IPPOG was at #EPSHEP2025 in #Marseille with a poster on the Masterclass for Non-Scientific CERN Staff, presented by @FabiolaCacciatore.
We were also thrilled to see IPPOG Forum member Kate Shaw take the plenary stage to talk about the power of #science communication and education.
