I've been busy planting Epic battles AWI.

Weekend away, living well in Oban and Loch Melfort.

Antietam is my favourite ACW battle to fight, fought it about 4 times now. However this was just a thrown together battle.

Epic ACW. 6 player club game.

Tonight's game, I am commanding a Texas, Mississipi and Georgia Brigade.

Nice game. Sadly, later expansions took it to odd places, where you could win with little table interaction or super fast.
I like a gane that supports a mid range tussel, and this didn't deliver for me in the long run.

Tonight I wa splaying Never Mind thr Billhooks. Forgive the unpainted models I was putting on both sides.
It was a Blood bath and I almost forgot to take pictures. Oh and that lively train board has had an upgrade.

I have always been fascinated by the war in the Pacific. I am blaming these 2 Spectrum games from back in the day.
Guadalcanal set the Gold Standard for me of Air/Sea/Land conflict, thrown in with dealing with supplied.

Vicotry at Sea.
A very cheap starter set from Claymore has now almost been finished.
I've enjoyed painting them and have some more on order.
Darker hulls, lighter decks for the Japanese.

Today marks my very first collaborative storytelling event with Critical Chance Collective.
My R/P/S cards didn’t arrive in time, so I had to get a bit creative and improvise
Really looking forward to this adventure — and to many more CCC stories to come.

Tonight was the first chance to play Chain of Command. My German machine gun team rolled a lot of 6s, resulting in 17 hits on a unit!

Very good point, Labour consistently prioritised winning Westminster elections with Scottish seats over good politics and even better political leadership up here.
Not sure a leopard can change his spots and still be a leopard in this case.

Claymore is one of the highlights of the Scottish show scene, certainly the oldest wargames show in Scotland.

Last night was a defeat for sure, but this wonderful board was brought along to the club.

Black Powder tonight Epic ACW.
It was my worst defeat ever. 55 mins a 650-point gane was over.
A broken brigade and damage across my line.
My command roles were atrocious, and we just never managed to get a battle lien together.
