In reviewing, I realized I use a lot of em dashes (I always have in my writing) and at this stage in the game it's too late to rewrite so I use fewer. Before anyone calls me out on AI use, let me just say I hate AI with the fire of 1000 suns and like 95% of this was written before AI was available
