Ella "Echo" Carmine

Blinking.

"You're maintenance crew, aren't you?"

Even ignoring the fact they were in a bay, Ella had gotten that exact reaction out of her own team's maintainer.

Soon, Ella finished her cider and ordered a shot of whiskey, smiling as she watched Valkhara.

"Y'know, i'm not sure i ever got your name?"

Of course, she knew it; she'd already read up on Val's files, but she didn't want to seem rude.

"You sure? I get paid well." She said, smiling as she started to drink faster.
She'd only ordered the cider while she waited, and she wanted to move on to spirits as soon as possible.

"It's great to see you too. How are you?"

She smiled kindly at Valkara, still drinking as she watched the spartan sit with her.

Her voice was quiet, though that wasn't unusual for her; her callsign came from how soft-spoken she was.

Barely a couple minutes later, Echo was sitting at the bar, looking at the door and waiting for Val's arrival while sipping at a pint of cider.

She was putting it lightly, and given that she was already pouring another glass, her hands shaking slightly, she looked like she was trying to drink enough to knock herself out.

A small smile touched her lips as she felt that one-sided squeeze.

She gave Silvia a slight squeeze.

"But you're not. C'mon, wrap your arms around me and squeeze a little. Don't worry, I'll be fine."

Echo's voice was dangerous.
She knew liars; she frequently worked with them, and she also knew that 'always' was never the answer to her question.

"I'm sure that's not the only thing you're good at~"

Echo let out a small giggle, before slipping away from Hana.

"But that's all I get to ask from the dare~"

Ella smiled and pressed into the kiss, before letting the larger woman pull away.

"You're not bad at that, huh?~"

"Hug me properly, coward.."

The lancer sounded.. upset.

In fairness, she didn't actually care if she was hurt in this; worst case scenario, she'd be recycled.
But she could feel how reticent Silvia was being, and wasn't enjoying it. At all.
