An isometric map wasn't really what I meant. I'm not even sure the thing I'm looking for exists. But it would be cool with a map that includes all three dimensions. In a megacity for example, it would be cool to be able to move both sideways and up/down and have a map that easily facilitated that

Yeah, do what you're comfortable with. It was just the first thing that came to mind.

I haven't found a way to do it well myself, so it would be great if someone cracked that for me 😉

A map where the perspective is not from above would be cool. I like the idea of a dungeon going vertically instead of horizontally like normal. Those kinds of dungeons always felt like they had more depth (pun intended)

Thanks! It's very much a game that does it's thing and not much else. Then again that seemed to be what got us the award. That said, it won't be everyone's cup of tea 😊 but if you're interested it's PWYW, so no big investment to check it out.

I agree! However, trying to create a moodboard without including A-I is really hard now when Pinterest has been totally plastered with slop.

Alright, *that* sounds like a lot of fun.

My first game design was very much structured to help the players have tools to create their own narratives, but when it really worked I felt superfluous as a GM, and that sucked.

So as long as you feel you're still playing the game, that sounds great 😊

I prefer books, but if I just want to check something out reading a pdf on a tablet or printing the pdf works as well.

Don't take this the wrong way, but to me it sounds like your best GM experience was when the other players played a GM-less game and you didn't play the game at all.

I really get what you're saying, I've enjoyed those experiences too. Now I don't enjoy GMing unless I feel I'm playing the game too.
