Have you watched it yet?
I think the use of chatbots for stuff like this is intended to train people to use it to avoid everything that’s painful or hard. It can write the obituary, the breakup text, the complaint letter. It’s meant to separate humans from their difficult feelings. Seems bad.

Sunday show host challenged his officials about his lies. He gets away with it.
Biden was asked to stand down from office for much less.

An incredibly wrong statement that isn’t sensible much less possible, a media that won’t push back, and an American discourse that will adopt it uncritically, making culture just a hair worse. Great work, all around.
“This shift comes days after Ben-Ami appeared on Pod Save the World in a debate with journalist Mehdi Hasan, during which he repeatedly refused to call Israel's actions in Gaza genocide – despite Hasan's pressing and citations of international law.”

In the past few weeks, the former Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert has referred to "ethnic cleansing" and "concentration camps" in Gaza, while a former Israeli Attny Gen, a former Israeli general, and one of Israel's most famous authors, have all said it's a genocide in Gaza.

But she’s not too extreme or bigoted for the Trump administration.
We’re just not a serious country anymore. Beyond a joke.

Trump is the most corrupt president in living memory and it's not even close.
Me: "So which country should @aoc.bsky.social go back to?"
Mick Mulvaney: "She's an American citizen."
Me: "So why did Trump tell her to go back to her country?"
I asked former Trump WH chief of staff Mulvaney if he ever challenged his then boss on his racist tweets.

Did you say “admitted to the bar in 2024?”
The DEI of it all. This is insane.
Last week, Trump:
- fired the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
- announced new tariffs on dozens of countries.
- called for Nancy Pelosi to be investigated for insider trading.

Everything about this story is horrific:
1. The student never mentions Jews
2. The university is going to expel a student for criticizing a country over genocide
3. A Republican congressman is taking credit and implying the student is a Muslim terrorist
4. The U.S. Justice Department is involved
This thread (and the multiple quotes) remind me of something: it is a lot harder to build something than it is to break it down.
There is no “Democratic Stephen Miller” because turning off a hundred switches takes one person, but turning on one hundred programs is going to take thousands.
Thanks
