Just had a very quick go at Ngram but there are too many kinds of planes for it to show me what I want, I reckon (plane of reality, plane trees, woodworking tool, mathematical term, etc.).

TY. I had a go at it. I couldn't quite see what I wanted, but I suspect it's bc the HTE doesn't do it. I'll have a look at the Ngram viewer. I tend to use it to check what's more common now, but it's obvious it works the other around too now you mention it. 🙃

@nicolabigwood.uk You wrote some good posts about the historical thesaurus webinar at the 2023 CIEP conference here (bsky) but I can't find them again. I attended the webinar but struggled to keep up. I'd like to know if there's a way to find out if, during WWI, ppl used aeroplane or plane more.

So important that we are able to get a 2nd (3rd, 4th?) medical opinion. The other place said there was nothing else they could do.

My #StetWalk today was in the orthotics dept @ Stoke Mandeville Hosp, the place to go to keep those #StetWalks going. The lead orthotist there is brilliant & never suggested breaking my foot & resetting it as some have. So happy I ditched that other hosp & found ppl willing to try sth else.
