I REALLY wish I knew how to do 3D games because I'd work on a Digimon World 1 and 2 styled game like crazy!!
Maaan how I LOVE the low poly style of those Digimon models!!!

I love Metroid Prime 4 but the idea that these 7ft tall axolotl aliens were so insanely into motorcycles that 1/5 of their world’s infrastructure was dedicated to a factory that produced exclusively human-sized bikes for no reason will never not be hilarious to me.

It's worth noting, if you use the completely black and white version, you won't know when to stop shaking for Megahit, so you'll need to rely on shake counts once again. This could be a positive or a negative depending on who you ask.

Having completed Metroid Prime 4 recently I’ve been thinking a lot about my experience with Metroid.

I crumbled to dust upon realizing I’ve been playing Super Metroid repeatedly for 31 years at this point.

I’ve gotten old, but Super Metroid hasn’t. It still feels fresh to me.

Thanks Affie! If the game manages to capture even half as much of that cool mysterious Digimon World vibe when it comes out, I’ll be happy.

I quite like Metroid Prime 4.

I’m glad I gave it a chance after not being too fond of previous Prime games or first-person games in general.

I never realized how much these foreshadowed the visual style of the Fantastic Mr Fox movie.

I have successfully completed the Tamagotchi Paradise by raising Delumon.

Went to the Aberdeen Zoology Museum today and got a free guided tour, worth doing if anyone’s in the area. Learned a lot and got some great inspiration for new creature designs for Spire of Arkodea!

After playing a few hours more, I’m sold.

It’s a very fun game. I wish it were bigger with more varied environments, but it might be one of the most fun Pokémon games so far.

Pokémon Legends Z-A is fine I guess, I don’t think it’s nearly as good as Arceus.

Honestly, I played for an hour or two and then put it down and went back to playing Digimon Story Time Stranger, which I’m enjoying way more.

Saw this on my walk today and it made me smile. It’s meaningless to most people right now but I promise it will become relevant once people have played Spire of Arkodea!

Time Stranger is just a great little JRPG with a fairly light story and some deeply satisfying monster collecting mechanics. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes JRPGs with fun mechanics, whether or not they're a Digimon fan tbh.

I've heard plenty of people say the Digifarm is like Digimon World and I suspect those people have never played a World game. Digifarm has nothing in common with World whatsoever, other than "there are Digimon in it and sometimes you see them hit a punching bag".
