Oh yay! I remembered the "rose" part!

I think about it a lot! It ends with the girl breathing on a bus window, leaving a steamy circle, and wishing she could still breathe fire -- but she's also glad that the dragon got her fire back. Very nuanced!

Does anybody remember a picture book from the 1970s (?) about a girl who has a dragon tail and fire breath, and finds out that there's a dragon with no tail and no fire, and she has to swap parts with the dragon to set things right? What was it???

Corporation for Public Broadcasting says it's shutting down The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funnels federal money to public media stations, says it's winding down operations after President Trump signed a law rescinding all funding.

I don't think so. But I have such fond memories of Herrell's ice cream in Cambridge, in the old bank vault. Their hot fudge and whipped cream were perfection.

I mean, it's not a contest between Angela's and Mitchell's. They're both equally important to the San Francisco ice cream ecosystem.

You will just have to keep yearning for things that are beyond your reach ... 😜
