I’ve been doing some writing on the one coming out soon. The storytellers on this title are so good (not just me ☺️). I love going through the editor just reading their work.

I found a farm near my new German home. There are vending machines there for eggs, ice cream, oil, vinegar, pasta, dried fruit, potatoes, and other oddities.

I bought quail eggs. I bought the scissors to open them. Now I need recipes for quail eggs.

I’m told I need to find a way to live together, in harmony, with these loathsome bigots, and I don’t really feel any desire to try. I would rather work to undermine them, to humiliate them, to deny them peace or joy.

Idk what I’m talking about but as a game writer, I am confident that I could make it work

One of my favorite career memories is sitting on the floor in the cinematics office, drawing stick figures on post-it notes to map out an action sequence. I learned so much.

Broke my goddamned heart. Fuck Booker.

I miss my dad. His bigotry stole him from me. Now he is fully fascist, and this is his legacy to me and to his grandchild.

I want to yell at him today. I want to write a scathing email that will do nothing.

He’s the enemy now. I can only keep my family safe from him.

Tell them to scream their own names to onlookers. And if they see someone being kidnapped, take video and ask for their names.

Getting stuck while we're writing is a feature, not a bug. It's the point of the exercise. It's what happens when we are trying to express something we have not expressed before. That friction forces us to make the tools we need to understand and express it. Getting stuck is how we make meaning.
