All of these buildings dream of being something that they once were. It feels like a metaphor to see something that people pour hopes and dreams into, burn to ashes. It wasn't a home but there were plans for this place.

I'm tired of hearing about how "midterms" are going to fix this. What if we don't have midterms? Or don't make it to midterms? How many more citizens have to die? How much more treason will our government allow? None of us should accept that relying on the courts & performatives is all they can do.

More than half of Duquesne Light (which is private equity) is owned by foreign companies that don't seem to care if small businesses go bankrupt or residents go cold. How having one utility company and the illusion of choice (distributors) isn't a Monopoly, I will never completely understand.

An alternative State of The Union is good but actionable items addressing the state of affordability in the United States would be great.

I'm off to make a list of things I want to do but seem impossible and then apply myself to said things and then I'll get the, "fail at something new." 🌿 🌿 🌿

If believing in myself is delusional, I'm delusional all 2026 and beyond. 2025 doesn't owe me a thing but I'm betting on myself all 2026. I love writing down goals because it's affirmational for me. Can't call it inspirational either if I have all the tools to make the things I want, happen. 🌿 🌿 🌿

Yes indeed. We have to find a way to break this system. The dishonesty and the illusion of choice is disheartening.

The way to fix it. Give your local guy grace. Shop at their stores and come back. And keep coming back. I love the idea of feeling things and looking at them before I buy. I would rather have that than two-day shipping from a billionaire who just bought a new yacht while he pays little to no taxes.

The problem is, we convenienced ourselves out of power. Billionaires gave us a little convenience at a time, and we had a hand in leaning into the two-day shipping that allowed the private equity firms to buy the little guy to make our only options chain stores or Amazon.

As someone that has a polluting company in my town, I fought against fracking and we won. I will also fight against any data centers in the area. It's possible to make responsible AI data centers but American companies prefer to cut corners at the expense of the most vulnerable populations.

Giving up on pollution because it's "inevitable" is saying that you don't believe in a better world for the future generations and makes young people who believe this no better than the Boomers and generations before who had a hand in destroying said environment. ✌🏿🌎❤️

Me, this morning. January is the longest year ever... It feels like a year.

Jeff Bezos owns all of these companies and he doesn't pay any taxes. Amazon is also set to allegedly lay off 30,000 employees. Absolutely 100 percent giving America is three companies in a trench coat. We have the illusion of choice but it's all going to the same people's pockets. 🤔🤔🤔

All we asked for was adequate public transportation, affordable Healthcare, homeowner opportunities, & quality affordable food. A lot of the fed government wants the very opposite and that's alarming. Our tax dollars should at least take care of us since we're for surely taking care of them. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

As a creative and someone who has been in tech for over 9 years, I think AI art is a big no no! It doesn't invalidate human art; it's just super icky because it couldn't exist without the real art that someone put their sweat and tears into in the first place.

It seems that the people who have audacity to go for their dreams relentlessly get opportunities. There are so many talented and intelligent people who think that opportunities are just going to knock on their door. That's not how it works. No one is going to believe in your dreams for you 🌿 🌿

I hope in the future when we wrest back the govt from the current regime, we put up some guardrails to stop politicians from just defunding vital govt programs with no rhyme or reason
