i’m not going to be lectured about political violence by people whose politics is violence

I’m in Colorado, conversation here is about the school shooting here that happened at the same time that’s gotten absolutely back-burnered so far.

The left overwhelmingly has condemned the killing of Kirk and offered condolences to his family in this terrible time. The right has declared “war” and demanded revenge before we even have a suspect in custody.

On March 27, 1981, 13 million Poles (effectively every adult worker in the country) failed to show up for work at 8 AM after union activists in Bydgoszcz were beaten. In the face of that kind of solidarity, the state could do little but sputter.
