Trump is squandering our country's world-leading economy and reputation trying to bully the world to kiss his ass. He is a fool, and our country is a collective fool for electing him.

But China won't be bullied, and will punch back, but it will be regular Americans who feel that gut punch, not Trump, who will simply lie, and spin, and blame others.

There is no art in Trump, much less in any of his "deals." Born rich, he learned to abuse his financial advantage to bully others, lying and cheating his way through life, and believing that made him smart. Now he is trying to abuse our country's financial advantage to bully the world.

But we did those things to ourselves. Trump and Vance's words and behavior with Zelensky brought shame to our entire country--all of us.

I am ashamed of our country, and for our country.

Trump and his minions, and every person that participated in or has downplayed the events of January 6th, and every single person who voted for Trump in the last election, have done shameful things to our country.

And Zelensky, desperate to save his country, and with no assurances of future support, was being forced to sign them away, And then he was berated for not being thankful enough.
Ashamed.

While Zelensky has thanked our country many times over, it is important to remember the context of his meeting with Trump on Friday: he was there because Trump wanted Ukraine's mineral rights as "payment" for past support.

I watched the video of small men Trump and Vance berate Zelensky, the democratically-elected president of a country being invaded by a dictator-led superpower, because he supposedly wasn't thankful enough.

And I am ashamed for our country having suddenly, and ingloriously, and embarrassingly, and even unexpectedly--even when I expect the worst from Trump--lost its right--our right--to claim to be the standard bearer for freedom, and against dictators and oppression.
Ashamed.

I am ashamed of our country having elected someone so obviously unfit to be the leader of our country, much less the free world.

I am ashamed of our country, and for our country.

Those who would take, or fail to protect, our rights must be exposed, opposed, and ousted.
Regardless of party, we must stand together.
Unless we act swiftly, we will we lose our rights.
Many lives were lost to gain and maintain our rights, and they must not be in vain.
Prove yourself, and speak out

Freedoms are hard won, and easily lost.
Unless we all have our rights and freedoms, none of us do.
Constitutionally-founded freedoms are, shockingly, under attack by our own current president and his minions.
Keeping our rights and freedoms is essential to our nation's survival.

I just told my wife that she is not the woman of my dreams--she is the woman of the dreams I could not have dreamed of.
I am a lucky man.

Just curious; Do you know where that post office was physically located? I live in Saluda but I'm not from here so I don't know the area intimately, but I think it would interesting to find, if possible.
