To get to profit though, they need it to do a lot more than summarize documents. It needs to reason and solve problems - but it can’t.

Current “AI” barely scrapes beyond current search engines.

Seeing Microsoft’s CEO say, “we need to find useful ways to leverage AI” puts to light a few things
- There was never a use for it
- CEOs don’t lead, they hope for the best and take credit later
- There is no path to AI profitability
- It’s a cargo cult

I don’t know that I can be convinced. The teasers all show a doctor who cares working in a hospital.

People have asked me why I don’t watch The Pitt. Frankly, I can’t imagine a hospital not attempting to maximize profit and doing more than processing cost centers (fka patients).
