1. I have a lot of hometown pride, but that's hard to show. Because it gets so aggressive when you're from around boston.
2. I have a red sox hat, and that's fine. But one notch above that gets too macho.

3. The next level is a New England Patriots Jersey...
4. ...and the name on the back just says "BLUE LIVES MATTER" for some reason.

5. Level three is a button down shirt with a camo pattern made of shamrocks, and it's called "shamouflage."
6. You're really only supposed to wear it when a Dropkick Murphy is born or dies.

Easy Way to Help Communism Win
Just sit and do nothing
Dude, don't threaten me with a good time. And also, do I also get the communist smut for free when I'm doing all of that just sitting around?

I watched a season of Suits last year, and they do a full Tesla dealership visit where the Cool Lawyer talks about why Teslas are sexy or something equally vapid. Easily the most egregious example I've seen.

Skeet from pclee: Forever curious why I get anti-choice slop on Facebook when I'm a raging liberal. Dems need to get a grip, get their trifecta, and undo all the anti-choice legislation. I'm tired of seeing all this pop up because of States rights to restrict healthcare access
I think you just answered this question from nine days ago, champ. This callous, cruel, victim-demonizing response to trans people being scared because their healthcare is getting taken away overlaps A TON with the anti-choice drivel you claim to hate. Hope this helps!

this is most certainly not "explicitly anti-vaxx" and its actually insulting to people still worried about long COVID to frame them as equivalent to the real anti-vaccination people in power/charge now.
Criticise her message without this.

The way Onfim drew hands as lil rakes is actually cool as shit, and also how breathtakingly beautiful is it that we get to see goofy doodles from 800 years ago!!

Onfimβs drawing of himself on horseback as a warrior defeating an enemy.
Two of Onfimβs works. On the left is a copy of a passage from the Book of Psalms he did for schoolwork. On the right is an apparently autobiographical depiction of a monster labeled with βI am a wild beast.β
Some more spelling practice by Onfim with some human figures who have round heads and varying numbers of fingers on their big hands.
Onfimβs writing practice accompanied by 7 little people in his particular drawing style, who tend to have very big hands with many fingers.
Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.

This is a video points out that the main function of the vaccine is not stopping transmission (true, itβs reducing severity) and also points out that the vaccines are less accessible and people arenβt updating their vax regularly (also true, less than 25%). Calling it anti-vax is completely absurd.

Calling a very well known vaccine advocate βanti vaxxβ because she VERY correctly calls for people to take supportive measures like masking since our current vaccines do not stop transmission is wild. As someone who actually does vax outreach in LA the lines Michael is pushing feed anti vax ideology

(And tbh in some places like Ontario some of us have to lie to get the booster because access has been restricted to a specific list of high-risk categories despite there being zero supply issue-- it's just Ford's anti-science government)

Bummer that a major account is accusing covid-conscious ppl of being anti-vax when they try to explain why the vax isn't enough on its own.
It's appalling, because I promise you the vax uptake is WAY HIGHER in this community. The only ppl I know still getting boosters are C19-aware maskers like me.

Michael once described himself as doing a kind of science communication-- I appreciate a lot of his research, but these analyses should be filtered through someone truly trained in the specialty before being shared.

You allotted significantly more text to social distancing than to masking or air circulation. Sure, it's a great idea for etiquette and health to not be breathing someone else's mouth fumes for assorted reasons, but it is negligibly relevant in a thread about Covid.

No, actual covid researchers and aerosologists are very clear that "6ft" was an arbitrary number even for droplet spread, and that you are not measurably safer from covid at like 10ft than at 4ft. It is dramatically more dependent on air circulation and filtration.

6ft distancing is based on the droplet theory of covid spread-- we now know that covid is fully airborne and "hangs in the air like smoke" according to researchers, so 6ft distancing is irrelevant.
Good as social etiquette IMO, but not for covid mitigation.

Breaks my heart that I have yet to see him engage w any of the million studies about longterm impacts beyond LC or any scientists/docs who are raising alarms. He debunks anti-lockdown cranks who lie about 2020-21, but otherwise is so intent on "it's undeniably less severe now!!" to covid activists.
