I dropped off the first 3 squashes at my local food bank today. Considering I didnt get the plants in the ground until June, that's not bad. Since I planted a third squash this year for the purpose, I expect to be making at least weekly deposits.

Also, that shape is ancient and has positive meanings in Hinduism and Buddism.
But, if it would be a fun project to modify it, you could probably easily rotate half the squares or break them up with some bands
