I actually don't know academia (poor + AuDHD + more), I just know I never really succeed. Is there anything like this? Is there any grad program anywhere I could do this kinda thing and not be miserable?

Genuinely, how do I skip all of academia and get student loans to write a dissertation about this exact thing (viral protest tactics, their spread and effectiveness). I've been studying it most of my life. I can write. I desire.

These are templates. Quickly distributed, tested tactics.

Now that the White House is using AI to edit photos of their political opponents to create fascist propaganda I’m wondering if anyone could have seen this use of AI coming. Okay I’m hearing lots of people did and they were forced to watch corporations smother the masses with the technology anyways

I've talked to people on the ground about the strike here tomorrow, and the single thing everyone brings up is just how shockingly wide the support for the strike is. Businesses that no one would have expected to support it are doing so.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

But I need it, I vitally need it right now. I need to write and be seen and loved online. It's a part of my neurocomplexity and safety and survival. How the fuck do I find it again.

I really need to find some fuckin place to write and be seen online again. I built and rebuilt that and the platforms are all blown apart or zombified and I just don't have it in me to do it again. And I don't seem to have what people want where I am without changing my tone or content anymore.

And personally? I want to be able to come back to these skills and feel joy and motivation. I really want that. I probably haven't ever said that.

I want my world to change.

Something I've learned to say to soften the blow of all of this (which I feel I must do to be heard better): I want same team. Same team guys. I want full recentering.

But shouldn't that make me the best canary? An important voice? An important perspective and a vital trait? A voice to really lift? Not an annoying, inconsistent broken record?

I'll admit, I'm neurocomplex and have sensitivities to misogynistic dynamics. It's a lens I have. Analyzing the impossible puzzle of sexism, oppression, all it's dynamics, is actually one of my most consistent hyperfocused skills.

I'll admit. I seem to be drawn to this kind of particularly visibly misogynistic space. I have a wolf in me that wants to fight. Finds energy in it (at first). Wants to find spaces where I am not supposed to win, not supposed to be the best.

I ran a business vending, solo, at comicons and fandom events from 23-31 years old. I'll say that again because every time I say it it does not seem to hit. I ran an ENTRE BUSINESS SOLO starting at 23.

I did not lead with the technical skills, think about if that made you think a bit less of it all.
