The last time I had an ear infection, it was like 6 years ago and it did not get like this. Now a month with the ear covered when I go out and I can't get it wait. That will be tricky since rain is upon us. I will take partial deafness to permanent deafness though.

Thank you! I actually JUST got out of the hospital, first time I'm in there for only an hour. They drained my ear, prescribed some meds and in about a month the hearing should be fully back. They said if I would have waited until tomorrow it could have been worse.

Also, we have reached 38°C of body temp. Someone just send me some soup

So... Guess who has to go to the hospital in a bit because of an ear infection and no standard health centers open today. I've had the pain since 2am. Fml

I wish I could have caught up on my reading. I've been mostly sleeping the whole weekend like my body said ENOUGH. I haven't even seen del Toro's Frankenstein yet nor have I touched my new book T_T

Thankfully tomorrow is a holiday here in Madrid so no adulting in the outside world needed.

Wednesday: Book signing. Side effect was downpour of rain.

Thursday: Movies to see BTTF. Side effect was freezing my nipples off by 10pm when I left the theater

Friday: Important errands had to be done before 2PM. Side effect more rain

End result: Been in bed all weekend. Worth it though

Got out of the movies. Extremely happy that I did that and was able to cross another thing off my list. I had a stupid smile on the whole time enjoying the film. Thats the magic of movies

Did I come to the movies with my DVD and the soundtrack for the pic? Yes, yes I did. Couldn't find my VHS copy in time though, so this pic will be redone in the future.

The whole event was amazing and I can definitely say after today's roundtable he gave and the answer to my personal question he has jumped to my top 10 easily

I hope to get this signed tomorrow. Was gifted this book for Christmas a couple of years ago and it would be the icing on the cake to get it signed to treasure even more

If everything goes according to plan, tomorrow I'll meet Grady Hendrix and on Thursday I'll finally enjoy my favorite movie of all time on the big screen.

I would hope not. After the shit year she's had, she does not need this problem lingering any longer, let alone into 2026. I'll try not to pull my hair out. Stress is already causing damage to it as it is

She's had an operation postponed TWICE already because of other things. I swear if it gets postponed a third time I may very well just pull my hair out

I just want to enjoy Back to the Future in theaters this week. Is that too much to ask for?

Its all this going back and forth to different appointments with my mother thats taking its toll. Both on me and her. We just went today and have to go back tomorrow for another appointment.

I hate hospitals. I hope in 2026 I don't step in one for the whole damn year
