I just voted against a GOP bill that gives up Congress's power over spending.

Instead of working with Democrats to stop premiums from DOUBLING next year, Republicans are sending us straight into a shutdown—and pushing bills to give up their own power and hand it over to Trump.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) ruled that the Trump administration broke the law when it blocked three categories of grants overseen by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). According to the GAO, FEMA’s decision violated the Impoundment Control Act (ICA), which
