@btwnthesepages.bsky.social pointed out to me that St David's Day urgently needs a few more #WelshTerriers. So... here I am! I went hiking today. 10 kilometres. Through ruins, fields and past nasty geese.

I went to the groomer again. This time, they did my ears. The groomer said that the Airedale #Terrier she treats hates having his ears trimmed. She was completely flabbergasted when I almost fell asleep during the procedure.

Today, I went for a walk around the city lake in sleet and had quite an adventure. First, the wolves at the zoo thought they could howl. I had to bark immediately to make it clear to them that this was not acceptable. And then I spotted a nutria. I had to take a closer look at that too.

Kira loves to play tug, so we had to test whether a tug toy would be better for her. And so far, it's working really well.

After losing so much fur yesterday, everyone is being very nice to me today. I went for a long walk this morning and then the postman brought me a parcel!
Now I have a fancy black tug toy. Of course, I had to test it out straight away.

I was kidnapped! 😭
When we got into the car, I thought we were going on a nice trip. And then suddenly I was sitting on one of those stupid hairdressing chairs and had to listen to them telling me that, surprisingly, my fur could do with a first little trim! 😭😭😭

Oh yes, the walk was great. I even saw horses.

The route. 11 kilometres, which took us 2 hours and 34 minutes. Which, of course, was not my fault.

Mum downloaded #Komoot. It's an app with hiking tours. Of course, we had to try it out right away and went hiking in the forest this morning. To the lake.
I was always at the front, of course. Even though I had no idea where the lake actually was.

The Tangermünder Gate is the second remaining former city gate. It is the oldest gate building of a city fortification in northern Germany and is built of rock stones, with the upper part also made of bricks. Here, too, you can see the snow in the foreground.

The storm stopped overnight. Now, with temperatures at -5 °C and sunshine, I was able to take a nice long morning walk on the city walls. Half the city is out sledging.
