De-soldering and soldering the replacement on was challenging as the connections were mounted on plastic that wanted to melt in the slightest presence of the soldering iron.

Lenses do require a lot of patience and a bit of a fiddling to get back together with out the assembly fixtures. This canon lense unfortunately has a weakness being the flex print that connects to the aperture assembly that eventually breaks.

Windows 11. Hey this is my computer. Not yours!

Since the introduction of Windows 10 my use of a desktop or laptop has diminished significantly to less than a week's use in a year. Because the OS is such a productivity leach, and lost work because of forced updates. Plus trying to force more that I don't want or need.

It's so nice to be able to turn on the computer, and getting to start do the thing you want to do in seconds 🐧.

It is one of those considerations a person ordering a partial should have, is that if there considering in the future to add more such as a full suit. That they should get enough fabric at the time to do this in the future.
