You’re absolutely right, I can’t comment on that as I’ve no idea but still hope as whole we’re a decent country. I naively thought that at least, gay rights have progressed over the years. Society is more accepting?

Don’t think we’re anywhere near where America are. The religious crazies would get laugh out of politics here. No way we’d have the abortion laws, look what’s happening in LA atm. Reform are a 1 man band. Without Farage, they’re nothing and they’re tearing each other apart.

Whatever else we are, as a whole Britain is relatively middle of the road. We’ve the extreme on the left and right but the majority (often silent ) are moderate. Best things for reform to take control of a few councils, f it up, get bored and folk will see them for what they are
