Today is the 11th anniversary of the release of Alien: Isolation. It won't surprise you that there's a lot about the game, with all-new interviews, in my book of next year, Aliens: The Video Games.

Happiest of returns to this scary bastard.

Just a disappointing situation, and my thoughts are with good egg authors whose own terrific work is, unavoidably, tainted for many by this mishandling of unfortunate circumstances.

Semi-regular reminder that a swell of angry posts on a commonly angry website isn't typically your audience; if shit is hitting fan, it's sensible to seek advice from professionals versed in crisis management (senior PR types all are); and losing the trust of genuine admirers is often permanent.
