On the other hand, this format is great for conversations about patterns, techniques, etc. in a way IG could never handle. I'm going to ride the ??? of the moment and see where we end up.

Update: I've set up a sewing account on Pixelfed to accompany my Thread Loops presence. Both use this handle. My bases are covered even if the road ahead is unclear 🤷‍♀️

I'm struggling with bsky as the post-IG sewing spot. I'm grateful for the familiar faces, but it's too easy to get sucked into the despair side of things. There's a time and place, and I find myself there too often, but I left the bird site for a reason. Really hoping Pixelfed gets some traction?
