I’m not so sure. It’s a cult of personality. I don’t think anyone else can sustain that energy. A lot of the MAGA/QAnon mythology around Trump is non-transferable IMO.

Genuine Q for you, @grogsgamut.bsky.social: do you believe there’s a better way than the interest rate sledgehammer? I can’t imagine how it’s logical to take more money from mortgage holders and give it to banks when prices rise, but I’m no economist. Surely there’s a better way to cool spending?
