That's not good. I hope they lessen for you, but sadly I think it is climate change. The UK winters have got warmer - admittedly, I'm not missing the cold - but we seemed to average gale force winds every 2 weeks during last winter. This one (Storm Amy) was one of the worst that I've experienced.
