We can confirm Alex Pretti was a nurse at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. As President Trump has said, nobody wants to see chaos and death in American cities, and we send our condolences to the Pretti family. Such tragedies are unfortunately happening in Minnesota because of state and local officials’ refusal to cooperate with the federal government to enforce the law and deport dangerous illegal criminals.

Absolutely shameful to throw your employee under the bus when they’re murdered, but that’s what happens when you’re in the dumbest cult of personality in the history of the world

If it's just "watch your back" or "you'll have to answer for what you've done" it doesn't count. And the criminology of such threats means that even violent ones won't be acted upon, but they do make elected officials afraid.

Well, I've definitely gotten some of those emails.

There could be consequences, to a person's social/political life if the official is someone they interact with. Also, this administration has shown a willingness to make moves (including prosecutions) with shaky legal footing that ultimately not hold up in court.

If a threat isn't specific, with a named place, time, event, or other actionable information, it can't be legally pursued. But that doesn't mean that officials won't feel unsafe from vague threats!
