The 19 shots that resulted in Arsenal conceding have a combined xG value of 2.99. That is the biggest 'overperformance' by opponents in the Premier League since the 2020-21, by a quite ludicrous margin.

This isn't a dead canary in the coal mine, it's a miner. AI doesn't work.

Lots of love for my walking interview with 5 News.

Funny thing is: we just walked around London, saw lots of smiling people - and somehow the mythical β€œno-go zones” never appeared.

From Senator Chris McDaniel: β€œLately, some folks have taken to calling ICE β€œthe Gestapo.” It sounds fierce. It feels righteous. But it isn’t true, and it isn’t harmless.

The Gestapo was a secret police force. No warrants. No courts. No lawyers. And no appeals. People vanished in the night, not because they broke the law, but because the law no longer meant anything. The knock on the door was the sentence.

ICE isn’t that. Not even close.

ICE is a public agency enforcing laws passed by elected officials. Its agents file reports. They seek warrants. They lose cases. Judges stop them. Lawyers challenge them. Some detainees go home. That’s not tyranny. That’s bureaucracy, for better and worse.

You can hate immigration policy. You can argue enforcement is too harsh, too sloppy, or too broad. You can work to have the law changed if you wish. That’s a republic doing what it’s supposed to do.

But when you call ordinary law enforcement β€œthe Gestapo,” you cheapen real evil. You turn history into a slogan and suffering into a metaphor. And once every badge is tyranny, no tyranny is left to recognize.

In Mississippi, I was raised to believe words should earn their weight. This one hasn't yet. It throws around the language of dictatorship while living under a system where courts still rule, lawyers still argue, and the government still loses.

That difference matters.

Because the day enforcement becomes secret, unchecked, and answerable to no one, we won’t need to borrow names from history. We’ll know exactly what we’re dealing with.

And we’ll wish we’d kept our words honest.”

"The officer feared for his life." Is so funny to me, because as a woman, if I shot a man in the face every time I've felt afraid, the streets would be lined with bodies.

I can’t get over that split second when those shots were fired , all that rage , all that hate , and then men like him go onto X to undress Renee Good - and a convicted sexual abuser in the White House and powerful men who raped children still secure behind their money

The copyright protection that Labour intends to remove from artists is the one that also protects people from having their holiday snaps turned into porn on twitter. If it is fair game for generative AI to slopify books, films and music, then your personal photos will also be fair game.

I did not attend any of today's public menorah lightings or parties today. Police presence can feel uncomfortable due to the lack of cultural awareness about the existence of Black Jews.

If you don’t like the BBC, I suggest that you go to America and watch their TV for a day. It gives you a migraine. The BBC also keeps the standards of the other outlets relatively high. If you think we watch shit now, imagine it with no BBC. And they actually care about drama, children’s, factual.

Congratulations to @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social!

You ignited a grassroots campaign, built on the radical idea that everyone deserves to live in dignity.

This is a seismic victory β€” not only for the people of New York, but for all those who believe that humanity & hope can prevail.
