i suppose at its heart it goes along with trend of AI shafting practice, discipline, and play in favour of convenience, but when it comes to music and especially guitar - are those exact things not the point of it all?

it's not even really useful for creating a custom "dream" amplifier - there's been software on the market for around decade that lets you swap power and preamplifier tubes, tune the biases of components, etc - and even then, you'd have to be a bit of a geek to understand the benefits of such things.

seeing a product release for a suite of guitar amplifier software that lets you create rigs from AI prompts, and I'm a bit stuck how worthless an idea that is when you can look up just about anyone's guitar rigs online and just, you know... use the stuff they use.
