Another year, another @tosoarch.bsky.social BASH! So much fun to catch up with people in such a gorgeous venue. Limberlost Place by @moriyamateshima.bsky.social and Acton Ostry was the perfect place to set off and explore when I needed a break.

Last night I hosted a special trivia night for the Architecture and Design Film Festival Toronto exploring brutalist architecture in film—perhaps one of the most unique events I've gotten to do! So much fun (and so much concrete!)

Amazing talk. These cities see procurement as an opportunity: to educate the public about design; to incubate young design firms; to choose from ideas presented on a level playing field. It's a must watch for any municipality--or heck, any client that procures architecture.

An architectural and graphic design gem that has been (for the most part) very well preserved. The civic centre still features the old City of Scarborough logo, as well as the departmental supergraphics.

TSA Landscape Tour: Ziibiing and UofT’s Landscape of Landmark Quality - TSA Learn about the design and construction of two landmark landscapes in the historic heart of the University of Toronto’s St. George Campus.

Open Letter on Ontario's Bill 5 and Bill 17 - TSA The TSA is deeply concerned with the Province's approach to Bill 5 and 17 and their consequences on our built and natural environments.

TSA marchers pose for a group photo at the end of the Toronto Pride Parade. Marchers are holding signs depicting buildings and landscapes that have served Toronto's 2SLGBTQIA+ community—pink ones for active ones, black for ones from the past.

A joyful and meaningful afternoon marching as part of the 2025 Toronto Pride Parade🏳️‍🌈, celebrating and remembering our city's queer spaces. Thank you to those who represented us so well, and to the 1000s who cheered us on.

Very excited for this tour of Limberlost Place organized by the Toronto Society of Architects! Our tour guides are from George Brown College and Moriyama Teshima Architects. Acton Ostry Architects were part of the team as well as a significant team of expert consultants.

Check out the Toronto Society of Architects booth at the Pride Street Fair! The TSA is showcasing their research on Toronto's queer spaces (and selling some really cool queer space merch as a fundraiser for future research). They'll be around until 11 tonight and all day tomorrow.
