I left Blue Sky a few months ago, and while Threads has become more like old Twitter for breaking news and such, it’s also come borderline insufferable like new Twitter with all the ignorant MAGAts and bots. May need to chuck it soon and move back.

You're comparing a system that has been out for month with the entirety of the Wii U line-up? Just because they started MKW in 2019 and then decided it wouldn't fit on the S1 and needed the extra power of the S2, doesn't make that a bad thing.

Ok? And I played two hours of a new save file of TOTK last night before bed, and I gave my Wii U to my nephew when I got the original Switch.

I think the short attention span is a more a you thing than a Nintendo thing. This “never enough” thirst for content is ruining the discourse.

I hope they make it a downloadable demo. The direct sold me enough, but I would still like to play it beforehand.

I’m just a button masher, when it comes down to it, and having to stop and think about parrying or jumping out of the way, etc. Is just not my way of playing.

What I loved most about BOTW &, especially TOTK was getting to all the towers and opening up the map. Once I had to grind, I lost interest.

Mostly Mario Kart and restarting my Tears of the Kingdom save file. I never finished TOTK or BOTW, and Zelda Notes is a good add on. The graphic upgrades are impeccable.

II restated Super Mario Odyssey and some indie games. I’ll check out the Splatoon 3 update tomorrow.

I started playing it again today for the first time to see what it looks like on Switch 2. I kinda became frustrated because I didn’t remember exactly what I needed to do.

I think it had a lot of great ideas and looks extra good on S2, but I agree it is pretty much just an experiment.

Instead of continuing with my new file, I decided to dive back into my 2023 save to figure out where the heck I left off. But hey, I found Link’s fish husband again!

I have owned every Nintendo home console, but the Wii U was the first one I was going to skip. Then the FOMO hit, and I ended up buying more games for it than any other console (then rebuying them for Switch).

Nothing, and I mean nothing, could have made me buy a PS or Xbox. Not my kind of games.

You’ll be waiting a long time then. I’ll be enjoying the Switch 2 in the meantime.

The upgrades for both Zelda’s make me want to finish them both (yes, I never beat them…that’s a me thing, not a game thing), and while I have just played through Cap World in Odyessy, the graphic bump looks great there, too.

Bayonetta 3 runs like a dream now.

Welp, after one attempt to sell my extra Switch 2 to a friend (at cost), I just returned it to Walmart. Sorry, folks, Nintendo only sold 3,499,999 units.

It’s totally the Wii U now.

I had this thought the moment they announced game share. It would be the way to bring over Wii U games that relied on the second screen, too (Nintendo World, Wind Waker HD, etc). Imagine Mario Maker with your old Switch acting as the gamepad!!

I would say I am 98% docked. I have taken the Switch with me when I travel sometimes, but it is the first thing taken out if I need room (this will be more-so with the bigger S2).

I prefer the TV and pro controller!
