I found a niche. Scenes from old movies that I can recall as first instinct and doing minimalist portraiture. These are not necessarily iconic scenes.
Here is baby Sridevi playing with her grandma (Anjali Devi) from Badi Panthulu singing Boochadamma Boochadu
My mum put her tenant's baby grand daughter's pic as her DP.
For many days I was wondering who is this person I saved as Amma
Devadas (1953), Telugu.

July.
"Fatigue" and "Corn Seller By The Beach"
Aliens would rather ask us for gold than Bitcoin. Gold’s $3,500+ surge signals more than market noise. I unpack why this cosmic metal remains the ultimate hedge in an age of debt, de-dollarization, and digital fragility.

"Facebook ban on discussing Linux?"
There is a strange ban on talking about Linux on Facebook. Users have tested this and found it true. It's odd for a platform that runs on Linux.

Dindigul has a better bar scene than the pinnacle of human civilization, Chennai
Lesser crowds lesser traffic better air quality and more agreeable climate.
I think i will relocate to Dindigul

2025 began with a badly made coffee.
Tomorrow I shall resume my lost battle with the Employee Provident Fund Organization of India trying to coordinate between an ex-company whose HR team is nonexistent and and another company which itself is nonexistent and figure out who messed my father's name
Mohan Cafe in Durgapur, India Coffee House in Korba or Hotel Green in Vizag.
Clean floor, neon lights, formica tables and turbaned waiters in crisp white.
Smell of fresh filter coffee and potato masala lingering in the air.
The promise of fresh cocnut chutney
Leaving with q flavour of anise..
Vizag? I have similar memories too 🙂. Entire family on scooter. Watched Shaukeen in Sangeet, had lunch in Dolphin and rode along the beach from St Aloysius to MVP before reaching home
