It's sad when a conversation gets cut off like that, especially when we could all just grow together as an alternative.

I personally appreciate the transparency you provided here. The fact that you even tried to provide someone with more info after they said some stuff that was intentionally or unintentionally transphobic was a pretty cool way to ask for accountability or that they try to gain perspective.

Also I don't think anyone said fuck the org just expressed disappointment with these people and the situation. Broad strokes don't really paint accurate pictures.

Who would have known? I struggle with the concept of perfectionism on a grand scale. The rope scene at large is so focused on perfection—the perfect form, the perfect photo, the perfect tie, and the perfect pattern. It's maddening. When it comes to popularity, we celebrate that perfection more than we focus on the joy or catharsis to be had. I have pictures of so many joyful times! Pictures like these that include all our shit in the background and our blurry faces, messy outfits. This is a tie where I guided @lunar_ash and @raesunshine_ in topping for a sequence I desperately wanted to bottom for. Taught by @fuocofet @tetheredtogether, 2 years ago, I felt like I would only ever get a chance to practice this as a top. My lovers proved me wrong. I was ecstatic about our teamwork and felt amazing in the tie but never posted it. I am choosing today to spend more time celebrating and highlighting these messy moments that brought me deep joy! I hope that maybe you'll do the same. Post something beautiful to you, even if it's not "pretty" or "perfect," please, for me, for all of us!
