L.A. is a Mexican-American city. The majority of the population is made up of racial and ethnic minorities. We are all happy living together and really do not want to see our friends, neighbors and families being terrorized by federal robo-cops. This is bullshit.

I didn't even bother asking for a cake this year, partly because if he comes home with chocolate again it will just rot there. Partly because the ozempic got me feeling ill. I feel like I should feel sad, but I feel nothing at all, honestly.

I asked for a cake with Shownu on it, and he taped a sad pic to a cake insert. I'm over being disappointed. Next month when I have time, I'll dress up (because heaven forbid anyone in this house dress nicely), and take myself out for a drink and a meal at a place I want to go.

Last year he got me a chocolate cake for my bday. Never in my years on this planet have I willingly had chocolate cake. As a matter of fact I bitched about the fact that my kid asked for chocolate cake for her bday, because I'm not a fan.

He asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I told him I don't care because I truly don't. He asked where I wanted to go to dinner. There's no time. I have work, then my kids swim lessons, then I need to shower and prep for the next day.

It's my birthday and I literally don't care.

I used to be someone who loved celebrating their birthday, but the people around me just aren't great with it.

My husband was like "I want to plan a weekend getaway for your birthday." I told him I'm busy every single weekend this month which is true.
