Sorry man. If it's helpful, I saw on Reddit that some people in the same boat recently had success getting a $130 discount to upgrade to a newer version. Some got the offer in a notification email (check spam); others called Google to get it.

I guess it's old enough that it can't be migrated to the Google Home app? (That's where mine ended up.)
