I’d give Dispatch an easy 9/10 (10/10 based solely on the telltale formula) and Outer Worlds 2 so far has a 9/10 as well. Might go up to a 10/10 if the story continues to hook me.

Outer Worlds (1) was such a great game and I enjoyed it so much, Outer Worlds 2 does everything great from the first game and more on a bigger scale and even better.

I’m most of the way through clearing Planet #2 and I have been easily distracted by every bounty and side quest possible.

A superhero workplace comedy with some drama and romance where all of your choices matter. It’s amazing so far and I would die for Beef & Royd.

As for Outer Worlds 2? Oh my god. What a great and wonderful game! It screams Fallout New Vegas, the gameplay is fun, and the characters are lovely.

Dispatch is a spiritual successor to telltale’s old formula. AdHoc Studio has done some amazing work in conjunction with Critical Role on this and the first 4 episodes are out now. It’s become my Wednesday night activity with my fiance! It’s like watching a two hour show you need to interact with!

I’m trying to use Bluesky more often but I’m also trying not to annoy the heck out of my ttrpg followers by tweeting about sports all the time (I cant help it! I was/am a sports journalist at my core!) soooo…

Prepping a new D&D podcast recently and I’ve gone through my old setting notes and listened to some older podcast episodes from old campaigns and BOY.

I feel sad, but I’m so excited to tell a new story and close a chapter of my life creatively. We are growing and evolving and it’s so exciting.

Every time I fly it blows my mind how people are so eager to get on the plane and line up to boarding when they have assigned seats & getting on the plane first won’t make the plane take off faster.

It’s so silly to see people just stand in line 5 groups early for a seat they’re already assigned.

Some people are upset about $80 standard copies of games, and I get that, but games were priced like this in the 80s & 90s. We were lucky to have the cap at $60 as long as we did. But it’s a valid criticism.

Scarcity with the Switch 2 is valid as well.
