Just because you identify as a journalist doesn't make you one.

Just because you identify as a journalist doesn't make you one.

Uh oh, conservatives are bringing in lawyers and bullshit to our state of Washington and creating a media blitz to obfuscate one very simple fact:

Press passes are for members of the press.

The people at the center of this issue Brandi Kruse, Ari Hoffman, and Jonathon Choe are not journalists.

And find someone who works for a company that DOESN'T BELIEVE IN DINOSAURS. That's Jon. Major Piper Perri vibes coming from that guy.

Do we have to give a press pass to every fucking clown with a microphone?

Again, can't we have some standards?

Find someone so sold-out that she does pay-for-play partisan broadcasting and receives funds from right-wing whack job activists while being cross-promoted by partisan, lobbyist groups funded by out-of-state billionaires. That's Brandi.

And before some jackass tries to explain to us that "BOTH SIDES HAVE BIASES" we'll challenge you to this: Find ANY other person with a press pass who works for a talk radio company that openly proclaims that they are producing stridently biased content. That's Ari.

Two are clearly partisan actors. And the other one works for a place that DOESN'T BELIEVE IN DINOSAURS. And now these three clowns are eagerly starring in this absurd self-promoting circus disguised as some grand defense of the 1st Amendment.

Can't we have some standards?

Hey does anyone else call these guys out like this? They produce so much propaganda that it would be a full-time job. A full-time job that the @wadems.org could easily afford. Get someone on it!

(C) The Washington Policy Center is part of a national group of lobbyists who receive their funding from greedy psychos who expect the Washington Policy Center to effect changes in their best interests. With all this in mind, we’re just gonna call it bullshit.

09.03.2026 00:38 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

We don’t have enough time for that, so we’re gonna make a judgment call based on these facts:
(A) This paper has sloppy formatting errors,
(B) This paper doesn’t reveal its methodology, and

(see next post)

09.03.2026 00:38 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

What if this paper turns out to be utter horseshit? In 2031 is the Washington Policy Center going to commission a follow-up on how well the model worked?

Or are they just gonna cite this piece of shit for now and then forget about it when the issue is over and they’ve moved on to the next thing?

09.03.2026 00:38 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The paper didn’t really say how it used data from government subsidies of Russian petroleum companies to determine how big of a drop in Washington's timber sales would result from a minor hike in the B&O tax, but they insist they have a "model."

Guess we’ll just have to take their word! Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

Did you see the citations in this paper? On the page screenshotted below they were all formatted incorrectly and differently from each other. For $5 million in annual funding from corporations and billionaires, we’d expect at least the basic formatting to be correct by these lobbyist goons.

The Washington Policy Center, a lobbyist group funded by out-of-state corporations and billions, is affecting the reliability of even innocuous web searches.

The Washington Policy Center, a lobbyist group funded by out-of-state corporations and billions, is affecting the reliability of even innocuous web searches.

This same stupid study is now the top link informing Google’s AI about what your tax reforms are going to do during innocuous web search. Check out the pic.

Do better. Get on message. Churn out content. Forget national politics. Fight these goons not only in Olympia but also in media.

Please.

For instance, check this out. The Washington Policy Center commissioned some poorly-written study based on some opaque modeling that said your taxes are going to reverse Washington’s GDP growth immediately and for years to come.

All these folks are running circles around you outside of your ivory towers where regular folk live. Start calling them out! Stay local. Stop with national party politics and focus on Washington party politics and voters.

08.03.2026 00:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Oh and don’t forget about those β€œloving” church people like Eric Lundberg of the Living Word Lutheran Church in Graham, WA. He’s calling you all Marxists hell bent on the destruction of society.

08.03.2026 00:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Forget about controlling the narrative. But could you at least CONSIDER some counter-programming to the lies from the WAGOP's various media platforms, the-funded-by-out-of-state billionaires group the Washington Policy Center, and the sold-out faux journalist Brandi Kruse.

08.03.2026 00:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

And YOUR message just ain’t reaching people.

Can’t you be a bit more disciplined like those billionaire bootlickers from the Washington GOP.

They had a parade of elected goons call you liars who are overthrowing our state constitution and greedily eyeing the income of middle-class families.

08.03.2026 00:11 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Hey @wadems.org

Like, half the electorate thinks the income tax you passed for wealthy people is against Washington’s constitution. That same half is also confidently discussing in bars and cafes about how the WA Dems are going to lower the threshold until everyone has to pay it.

Red State Blue Resources Red State Blue Resources is a 527 non-profit registered as an independent expenditure committee (Super PAC).

By the way, conservatives are the ones who came up with funneling money into politics in this manner. We just decided to make that resource available to the community’s progressives.πŸ˜‰

Where are the rich lefty patriots?

www.RedStateBlueResources.org

Also, we take normal individual donations LOL.

Red State Blue Resources is a 527 independent expenditure group, aka a β€œSuper PAC.” If you want to bundle a bunch of wealthy people’s money together and run it anonymously through a non-profit or other entity, well we can legally receive and spend ALL of it on running election ads.

This is not a paid advertisement, but we’ll still slap a disclaimer on here anyway: Red State Blue Resources is not authorized by any party or candidate.

Start talking about the candidates. Start talking about electability. Start sharing any and all of the candidate’s ideas and their platforms with others in the community!

Show off how democracy works!

Be passionate!

He has a good background. Compelling story. Electable. There are a LOT of vets in Spokane. And his campaign vehicle is a big ol’ pickup truck.

Please, get a conversation going among activists out here in Eastern Washington!

His own son (also a vet) is facing charges from Pam Bondi’s out-of-control Justice Department that Donald Trump is turning into a tool of oppression. For Bajun, it’s personal.

In our opinion, there is only one candidate with all the above, and that’s @bajun-mavalwalla.bsky.social .

Heβ€”like Johnβ€”is another veteran. He’s been in the shit but he’s also been in the negotiating room. He can shout, and he can read.
