Yes I drank water, yes I had breakfast, no I did not drink alcohol, no I'm not hungover.

Something (not so) fun I've (re)discovered by filling a job position of an accountant is that looking at numbers for more than 3 hours makes me incredibly sick. Physically dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous and such.

I'll fight, I'll kick and scream as much as I can, for my artists and illustrators and for the creatives I love. For the reason I stand up and keep drawing, I won't let them strike me where it hurts.

I am still hopeful that my journey with art won't end before it starts. I'm scared by the time my commissions really kick off art will be obsolete, and it crushes my heart, that something I've valued so much as a kid, that something that has defined me for so long will cease to exist.

I feel like everytime they bring me down the longer it takes to pick all of the pieces back up, mend everything in the only way I know. It's hard to keep wanting to heal, to keep making an effort in an environment that's just not meant to let me grow.

Just take your time, draw. And if you don't want to, comission other artists, or get into other practices such as crafting, writing or roleplaying. Things made by your own hands, by human hands are so much more satisfying and so much more worth it. 💙
