Metal Garden is a gorgeous game if you like brutalist architecture and megastructures (that "sky" is a CEILING btw). The sense of scale in this game is crazy, it has a really strong atmosphere, and it's just such a nice short game experience. The worldbuilding and lore are so cool, too!

I've been very busy, so I only have this chibi of York to offer this year, but I think farigiraf and raichu are very cute in it ;.;

On one hand, it's sad to not get more episodes, but on the other, this at least means it won't go on too long and get stale. It's a "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" type of feeling on my end. It's been a fun show. :>

Oh, so it wasn't just PC! It looks pretty complex (esp for its time) so that kinda tracks haha.

The story is wild, and really makes me think about how differently everyone views virtual beings, whether it's simulated pets or scripted NPCs.

I recently learned about Creatures (a 1996 pc game where you simulate life and evolution), and the CRAZY drama in its online community around a guy who ruthlessly tortured these things.

This (alongside Roko's Basilisk) is totally what inspired the "Thronglets" Black Mirror episode, isn't it.

This is a huge deal for me because:
1. I usually make a point to be home by sunset and stay home after that, I was out until 10!!
2. I NEVER go to events and when I want to I usually back out last minute. I DID NOT DO THAT this time!!
3. I actually had fun, having fun is hard for me!!

I left my comfort zone to go do something new that seemed like it could be fun, and had fun :) :D

(Went out and partied on a Saturday night for once and it was at a goth drag show at a pretty cool bar I hadn't been to previously)

If you don't know what WorldAnvil is, it's a great place to document your worldbuilding and really motivate yourself to write about it, btw. It's an awesome site for anyone making a fictional setting, whether they're a writer, TTRPG person, or just a casual creator. Recommend it.

Picking up WorldAnvil again to at least write about my world when there's nothing else I feel like writing, just to keep myself in the habit of writing. Maybe I will share once I feel like there's enough meat. There's a lot about my universe I've reworked and I want to talk about my stuff again.

Also on the topic of music, I have slowly and quietly been working through some compositions. I'm typically really quiet about music I'm working on, because I just take my time with it and my motivation cycles with music are strange. But I hope to get some of this stuff done soon and I'm excited.

Basically I'm entering the era where I've kinda hit "the real me" when it comes to music. I'm just doing whatever I want and not worrying about categorization. It hinders me.

- me feel somewhat restricted. I've also developed the confidence from making music so much over the years that it's like, whatever, I'm a variety artist. I will embrace that. The styles aren't going away, the rigid categorization is. The time spent with those alt names was still valuable & good tho

There is ONE more album I will release under Freneti6m since it was like 80% done anyway, but Crypt Patrol is a finished project now, and F6M is about to be finished.
I made music under these names to explore my musical identity and a little due to insecurity, and it helped, but now the names make -
