Since I'll be paying for Lansdowne 2.0 instead of ending homelessness or funding transit, and since stadiums are public good now, I very much look forward to attending all events there for free and I will expect regular cheques in the mail with profits from all the new retail and condos.

every budget projection for a new city project should be required to include an appendix that shows the last five projections and whether or not they were correct. do they do this already? feels like they should! because obviously every project will be fine if it stays on budget BUT WILL IT?????

at the same job i gave a lunch and learn on how to write emails (yes really!) that were effective and clear, and had an entire slide called "when is it appropriate to reply all" that had two bullet points:

used to have a coworker who would check off "also send to entire channel" whenever he'd reply to a message in a slack thread and i hope to never reach that level of arrogance where i think "yeah everyone in this company-wide chat is itching to hear what i have to say about this"
