The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

I don’t understand why people get so worked up about being seen as thirst following someone, like shit I do it all the time. Like if I go to someone’s profile, like/share a bunch of their stuff and then follow them it’s probably cause I would do or let them do so many things to my body with theirs.

A painted sketch of a nude woman standing thighs-deep in a round hole in the ice of a wintry pond. Instead of water, the pond seems to be filled with blood, and the shape of the cracked ice and the surrounding snow vaguely resembles the shape of a large eye. Bare trees and sticks and dead undergrowth surround the edges of the scene. This was based on a photo I saw on Pinterest, of some ice on a pond that looked like a big eye. I made the water blood and added a naked lady, because that seemed like a cooler concept to me. Just more painting practice!
