When the Nintendo Switch 2 direct went live, I teased one of my friends because the thing that excited them most was GameCube games being added to the NSO library. I am now eating my words with 10 hours into Soul Calibur II, a game I own for my GameCube and could be playing on my GameCube

Yeah, it's like a lot of SNES games in that a whole lot of screen clutter can cause some slow down. My SNES can struggle with games with lots of particle effects, but EarthBound is mostly stable

I like to rock Biker Yoshi on the R.O.B. H.O.G., and Donkey Kong in any car too small for him

The performance boost was enough to make me actually finish the game. That being said, no amount of improved frame rate or lighting can cover up how uninspired the map design is. I enjoyed the story though! I also enjoyed beating the game with a Basculin of all things as my lead Pokémon lol
