sadly two of the eggs didn't hatch (though not sure if that was cuz of gimbir's smallness or other reasons)

he can't even properly cover all the eggs cuz he's so tiny, lol

i like the current couple on this falcon camera, 1 year old gimbir and his 12 year old gf diamond
he barely even seemed to know what he was doing at first, i remember seeing him standing over the eggs as if he didn't know he was supposed to sit on them, diamond even chased him away a few times, lol

i also appreciate when artists seemingly get what i was going for with their crest feathers (going down in a line along the top of their head, but having a slightly "folded" shape to give them a good side silhouette) cuz it's ambiguous in my ref, lol

both versions of honey speedway sound great too, again i think the percussion in the original sounds much more distinct and interesting, but reignited's percussion sounds more energetic here
seems like both the original and remade soundtracks shine in different ways hfdhsgxvfdghf

just heard desert ruins reignited and hey, this is actually really neat, definitely has great energy nxbxhxgdfcg
i might actually prefer the arranged version here, but the original is great as well and i like its 90s-sounding sounds nxhchchf

more than half of the groove and energy is gone for me nfhdhfhdgcbghgg

not that the arrangement is bad, it's technically well composed and sounds fine, but the original has FAR more groove to me and gives me so much energy, it definitely has a distinct feel to it that i don't really think the arranged version captures

the original has SUCH great energy, but the remade version's drumset sounds much less intense, there's also a bunch of satisfying low pitched percussive sounds that sound like hitting objects in the original that are straight up gone here, and the instrumentation in general is drastically different

to be fair, i haven't heard much of it cuz i'm trying to save most of it for when i play the games, but for example, just listen to this

i find a lot of remastered/remade game soundtracks to be hit or miss admittedly, that's why i thought it was worth mentioning
so for new players, it's a good idea to try out both versions of the music in rereleases if given the option and see what you prefer jfhfgxbchfgghfdf

comparing some tracks and i dont think them mostly being the same is true, from what i listened,the arrangements are pretty different even when moving around
so far i much prefer the originals, the remastered versions feel much less punchy and the instrumentation sounds more generic to me

the spyro soundtracks by steward copeland seem so unique from what i've heard of them ndmxndgdhdcvdf
the early crash bandicoot soundtracks by josh mancell also have a super distinct and recogizable style (and i need to play both series sometime ncncbdhcbccbdgdf)

reignited trilogy's music is remastered so it's not totally the same, that might be worth noting (but i think it lets you switch to the original ps1 soundtracks as well?)
