Thanks to my partner, as an early Christmas gift, I got to meet, speak to, and take a picture with Weird Al! Such an amazing human being who helped shape my humor, leading to the creation of series and shorts that have entertained many, such as Slasher Support! (I can't pose right to save my life)

It's not often that mini-me is willing to step away from his phone or my computer to play video games with me, so I cherish these rare moments, even if it's only for a single level. 🤣

Almost a year has passed since moving to Columbus, Ohio and although money woes remain the same, and life leaves one feeling constantly drained, I'm still taking things a day at a time. With a great company, indirectely helping those in my community. Already promoted, so feeling good, hopeful!

Think I'll print a prototype of my Horror-themed card/party game, Bodycount, and see if I can't find some playtesters at local game stores.

A few months in, savings safety net nearly exhausted, but close to being stable. Everything is finally transfered over to Ohio, and starting my new job on May 12th.

Nearly 15+ years since I haven't worked. There hasn't been a gap in time between previous jobs, so wasn't sure what to do with myself.

The holidays have been rough, but hopefully a new year brings new beginnings. On the brightside, making solid progress on the creation of the "Tales of Forge & Fortune: Barebones Edition" PDF.

I miss playing and making TTRPGs. Plan on doing a LOT more of both this year!

Anyone ever take the USA Hire assessment tests? I don't fancy myself a genius, but WOW did they make me feel stupid at times. Hoping that I passed all 4 and will get an interview soon.

All these fake gamers crying about "woke" video games, because Witcher 4 and other recent announcements, acting like we've never had a female protagonist in a video game before.

An entire genre started with Samus Aran and Metroid in the 80s, followed by Lara Croft and others in the 90s and beyond.

You could create your own modern age of hereos and villains that tackles such issues, a world similar to The Boys tv show, or something completely original. You could even mash all of those concepts together into something truly unique.

The idea of superheroes potentially being tied to government entities and the inclusion of corporations that are trying to monetize superheroism has a lot of potential issues that GMs are welcome to take advantage of and explore.

- Additional equipment & support is outsourced to corporations, that develop armor, weapons, and other gadgets for hereoes. They are also responsible for the scientific breakthrough of the short-term power gain pills. Although generally trusted by the public, some question their methods and goals.

- There is a very experimental pill that does provide a single, basic superpower, like super strength, but it only lasts a few hours and after you take it you can't take another for at least 2 weeks. Taking one before the 2 weeks, or multiple pills at once results in horrific, often fatal outcomes
