lol these are the same guys who “collaborated” with WalMart in public parks. I called them out and they freaked out and DMed me to try and understand my perspective on why public parks aren’t for bullshit brand activations.

In Chicago we have alders that represent 50 different community areas. I went to my Alderwoman’s office this morning to ask about her silence on the ICE activity in our ward. After a poor exchange I wanted to share the follow-up letter I sent:

This is the biggest attack on free speech since the McCarthy era but it also has significantly less popular consensus behind it than the second Red Scare. It's being done on behalf of a minority faction led by the most unpopular president in modern history. Organizing against this can win.
