Prob better in the zone than in the 99 because to consistently punch through you probably need to build a deck around making that happen. And if you're gonna put her in the zone, there's better options that do what she does.

My unban hot take about unbanning things like Emrakul, Griselbrand, Iona, Primetime, etc? Get good and stop demanding you get access to more cards to topdeck that will do all the work for you.

Went to make some cuts to a deck sitting at 103 cards and it's now at 110 which makes me feel like I'm making cuts incorrectly.

It's tricky because I get why design wants to make strong commanders with a very clear build path and a reward system baked in for newer players. The problem is those cmdrs aren't just (or even mostly) being played by new players.

IMO it's almost exclusively due to the commander too. It's kinda hard to screw up a deck that tells you exactly how to build it, rewards you for doing so, then lets you draw a card when you get that reward like a little cherry on top of a sundae.

Players aren't by and large making their Ashling the Limitless deck worse because it tells you right on the cards what you should be adding to the list.

I think that's probably true of a homebrew style deck. I don't think that's true of most recent precon-style commanders that say in clear text right on the card exactly how to build them.
