Fun fact - the shadow on the barn is not the shadow of the tree in frame. The shadow is from a tree that's behind to my left. Optical illusions.

East Coast of Japan, south of Fukushima - the outgoing tide had left a very fine covering of black silt and fine seaweed. A passing vehicle exposed the white sand underneath, leaving a snaking trail away in to the distance.

Oh it's a nightmare, isn't it! One of the books, I thought I had it perfect, but after I'd glued the covers on the glue swelled the pages and ruined it. 😭
