Ted Lieu Tells Loser Rubio, The
Facts.......
The Pentagon calculated it was spending $1 billion a day on Trump and Netanyahu’s war. The truth? It was $3 billion…and that’s just for munitions.
Plus they’ve alarmed everyone by burning through scarce munitions in a matter of days.
Kristi Noem spent 220 million on her self-promotion ad and Hegseth said, "Hold my fruit basket."

Haven’t heard about it.

“Killing is fun”
I just…
“We WANT to suppress voters.
That’s the only way we can win.”
The majority opposes them.
Never forget.
In free and fair elections, they lose.

Honestly I need historians to be the plaintiffs in every case I cover because if they make it to discovery you just KNOW those primary sources are going public.

Hey folks.
A reminder that this is tomorrow —free, first come first served for seating— (Tuesday) at 7:00 PM.

This should end his career.
But it won’t—not in 2026.
Even so—call, complain, speak up, push back.
I wish that Anti-Muslim bigots didn’t belong here.
ICE just got caught in another lie.
ICE cut over 40% of its training program, slashed half of all firearms instruction, and eliminated ALL evaluation of agents’ grasp of skills specific to immigration enforcement and deportation operations.
I understand that there are a lot of folks on the left who instinctively recoil from religious language, and with good reason given its use by the right.
But please listen to this, and focus on how he's trying to realign "Christian values" so they align with and advance progressive policy goals.
No planning.
No purpose.
Didn’t even pause to consider how to get Americans out of Iran.
There are going to be Republicans running in many places who will go out of their way this October to point out to voters that they never asked for Trump’s endorsement. Susan Collins will top the list.

This.
If you don’t draw a line in the sand—regardless of a hearing’s or impeachment’s outcome—you’ve essentially declared an offense acceptable.
A handy precedent for more of the same.
NEH's budget is tiny—not just compared to NSF/NIH, but compared to humanities funding in every other wealthy nation. What little was there was largely rescinded and several programs were cut in full last year. It decimated not merely individual projects but whole corners of the humanities in the US.

The White House put out a series of hype videos about the war. Some have been defending it by saying military members themselves share these kinds of videos.
This is true. But they aren’t the White House. The WH is a bunch of children, and have no sobriety about the serious business of war.
Every time Trump gets on the phone with a new reporter we’re hearing the weirdest mix of a misremembered classified briefing video the CIA makes for him, part of a text he just got from Lindsey Graham, and the last three nouns he heard on Fox News.

In less than 1 week, Trump has wasted more than $5 BILLION of your taxpayer dollars on his war of choice on Iran.
That money could have covered the cost of SNAP for more than 2 million Americans for a year.
There's always money for war and never money for human needs.
WE STILL DON'T HAVE A CLEAR ANSWER ON THE MOST BASIC QUESTION ABOUT THE IRAN WAR
WHY did the U.S. go to war?
A Popular Information review of public statements over the last 9 days found 17 DIFFERENT EXPLAINATIONS. Many of which contradict each other.
🧵
The Trump administration says there will be no more Epstein files released. Over half of the 6 million documents remain sealed.
Pam Bondi’s response:
“The DOJ is done.”

Good for the hed/dek writers at @nytimes.com just now:
Not "appears to contradict" or "is at odds with" or "may give rise to suspicions that."
Flat out: "Contradicts." "Video shows." About the US blowing up a school full of little girls.
And of course, terrible for the world.
Homeland Security @DHSgov Democrats must end this DHS shutdown NOW.
it is not normal for official government social media channels to behave like arms of the Republican Party

This is an excellent point by Murphy
You want to support the troops?
Then don’t give Donald Trump the money he needs to send them to die in an illegal war that he started to cover up his connection to Epstein
It’s a story last updated March 7?

7 American service members dead.
$1 billion a day of taxpayer money wasted.
And so far the Trump-JD Vance regime change war has replaced Khamenei with Khamenei Jr.

Please read this discussion of how ordinary Germans became Nazis.
Generally speaking, I don’t like this comparison (US now and Nazis). It’s lazy button-pushing that simplifies the present.
But the dynamics here…
