So…I tried to get some cute Rosie video for you. And I did. Taking a bath. And….my bathroom is in the background. She wouldn’t let me get another shot with the door closed.
So here you go.

The Piggy Problem
Hey folks:
On my podcast "History Matters" on Friday, I discussed "The Piggy Problem" -- and what that comment shows about the vital role of the press in serving US -- American citizens.
We forget that fact at our own peril.

Rich people seeing Mamdani: "He's gonna make us share!"
What a great line from Joanne Freeman. That could be a campaign slogan.

Scoop: Democrat requests police investigation into Trump over "threatening" posts
"All of these posts are intimidating, threatening, and concerning," Rep. Jason Crow's office wrote.
Rep. Jason Crow's office is seeking a Capitol Police investigation into Trump for what they described as "intimidating, threatening, and concerning" social media posts.
It's highly unusual for a member of Congress to request a police investigation into a sitting president of the United States.

We spent a year investigating billionaires for @washingtonpost.com.
We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.

1) @washingtonpost.com reported Thursday on a controversial policy downgrading how nooses and swastikas are labeled in the Coast Guard.
2) Admin officials attacked The Post, falsely alleging the reporting of "fake crap."
3) The CG said it would review policy language.
4) The CG reversed course.
