Last night I discussed the lack of a cohesive reason for the war, little knowing about this “reason.”
I’d say “holy crap,” but I’ll avoid “holy” for now.

She was arrested for standing up during the SotU and this is the first I’m hearing of it? 🫠

Every episode of Freeman After Dark (on YouTube) ends with historian Joanne Freeman showing her can of Chutzpah and her whistle.
So I bought a bag of whistles to hand out next time I go protest!

BREAKING: I just spoke to President Trump he said you’ll find soon what the retaliation will be for the attack on the U.S. embassy in Riyadh and for the U.S. service members killed. He also told me he doesn’t think boots on the ground will be necessary.
notable that Trump's media strategy to sell this war is doing bespoke phone conversations with individual reporters instead of answering questions publicly

Wow.
Based on the comments, a good deal of Game Of Thrones unhappiness. I’m totally in the dark.
Why?…

Watching Game of Thrones—probably the last person not to watch it.
Lots of beheading.
But I’m still in the mix…
honestly, this goes in the war crimes prosecution file, a pretty clear declaration that the mission is not guided by rules rooted in the law of armed conflict

I don't think she understands how many podcasts that includes. And if you make the opposite argument, and say no, actually, tens of millions of people love those shows, Democrats should be on them, she says I'm "defending anti-semitic conspiracy podcasters." The good news is that this stuff doesn't work anymore. Save your breath, nobody cares."
I really don't think "There are so many antisemitic podcasts out there that you just can't help but appear on them" is the defense they think it is.

That tells you everything you need to know"

“If we’re not careful, we’re going to get a judge killed. It’s just that stark,” says retired federal Judge John Jones, a George W. Bush appointee.

That’s who he is.
Trump administration officials acknowledged in closed-door briefings with congressional staff that there was no intelligence suggesting Iran planned to attack US forces first, two people familiar with the matter said reut.rs/46ybyTg

They cannot cite any specific imminent threat to America. Nor any legal authority for Trump launching his 8th military attack, the most consequential yet.
