To double check my numbers, it seems Flu deaths for the past 12 years have ranged from 6300 to up to 52000, for a lower average of 30000 average deaths per year for the past 12 years, but a 10% increase of that average would still be thousands of deaths.

I recently looked it up and yearly deaths from flu (mostly from bacterial pneumonia + flu) are over 40 thousand, an average over "one 9/11 worth of deaths" per month, so if this results in a 10% increase in flu deaths, that would be an extra "9/11 worth of dead Americans" every year because of them.

from both sides of my family I had "Aunts and Uncles" who were not my aunts or uncles, they were "Great Aunts", and "Great Uncles", and some "Step Aunts and Step Uncles", but we never made that distinction in how we called them.

I also had a Cousin Once Removed who we always just called "cousin".
