I've done a cold load (meaning fresh download - no cache) of Recursion Lab on the splittening (.NET 9) build of @resonite.com as a test.

This is INSANE.

Normally it takes a few minutes to load this world fresh. Now it's like... 15 seconds tops.

@frooxius.bsky.social is adding spatial variables to @resonite.com, a new feature currently in pre-release testing. It allows sampling values at points in space, interpolating them and using them for pretty much anything. We're still only starting to wrap our heads around what this can be used for!

My entry "N8 - Utilitarian Robot" won the Avatars category! Thank you @creatorjam.bsky.social for hosting another great competition. The creations this year are incredible and they just keep getting better with every MMC.

Absolutely! I visit every MMC entry, been speed running through them with a friend, although had to stop for a moment to try the food.

Last day of #mmc25. So excited to see everyone's entries this year! I'm totally unaware of my competition in the Avatars category so I look forward to seeing what else has been created.

I don't think most people will be changing colors on the fly after they save the avatar, so it probably won't happen. But there is an easy to access list of dynamic variables in the root to change the colors.
